故事从一艘黑夜中的赌船开始……男主角，伊藤开司，浑浑噩噩，一事无成，因为好心替人做了担保而背负上了数百万债务。为偿还欠款，开司接受怂恿上了一艘名为“希望之船”的渡轮，为的是参加一次神秘赌局，一旦获胜，就能将欠款一笔勾销。上到贼船后开司才发现，参与者多是如自己一般的失败青年。然后主办方便开出了赌局的规则：参与者须以标着“石头，剪刀，布”的扑克为道具，夺取对手身上的星星标志，赌局结束时，扑克牌未用完或星星少于三颗者将失去资格，而参赛初所能向主办方借贷的巨款，也成为让他们盈利或逃生的重要因素……

希腊神话背景的动画来了。Netflix宣布将拍一部动画剧《众神与英雄》(Gods & Heroes)，以希腊神话为世界观，讲述新的原创故事：一个年轻人发现自己是宙斯的私生子，他也必须努力拯救天界和地上世界。《恶魔城》动画的制作方Powerhouse Animation打造，Charley和Vlas Parlapanides(《惊天战神》《死亡笔记》)任主创，共8集。配音演员包括杰森·奥玛拉(《神盾局特工》)、洁西卡·亨维克(《铁拳》《权力的游戏》)等等。
根据龙之子工作室在推特公开的消息，由其制作的新作TV动画「夜樱四重奏 花之歌」将于今年10月开播。新作动画是「夜樱四重奏」系列时隔5年再次动画化，内容上并不是动画第二期，而是从漫画第1话开始重新制作，同时还加入了原创要素。新作的STAFF和CAST已经公开，STAFF和TV动画有较大不同，但声优并为改编原始阵容。 漫画「夜樱四重奏」是安田铃人（本名安田典生）自2006年开始在「月刊少年天狼星」连载中的漫画作品。故事以樱新町为舞台，当樱新町连续在夜晚发生奇怪事件，在这个樱花林立的地方，因为得到非人类力量者的数量增加，令混沌程度越来越严重, 挺身面对他们的是“比泉生活协商事务所”所有成员，新感觉的感人动作故事，就此展开……

A third season is also in development. On 22 January 2018, Zag posted on Instagram that the crew was working on a fourth and fifth season. On 31 August premiered a new series with Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir which this time is in chibi style. On 5 September, 2018, Skydance Media has acquired the live-action film and live-action television rights.
