《银河剧场》本着让喜欢戏剧表演、编剧的青少年梦想成真的宗旨，给爱好者一个展现自己的舞台。以戏剧理念为指导思想，以情景剧为节目载体，对青少年的生活原生态进行舞台还原和搬演，把社会生活体验真实地展现。栏目针对7至18岁的青少年及他们的家长推出反映青少年校园、家庭生活和成长故事的校园幽默剧、家庭幽默剧、卡通连续剧（动画、人偶）等，让孩子在情景中体验自我，从故事中得到启示。该节目已于2019年10月停播，整合进《动画大放映》栏目。

在2012年8月27日发售的《月刊Comic alive》10月号上发布了《温泉物语》将要广播剧化和短篇动画化的消息。动画由因《侵略！乌贼娘》、《Campione弑神者》而被人熟识的制作公司Diomedéa负责，此次短片动画将与广播剧CD于2012年11月28日同捆发售。

KidsClick will start airing season 2 of this show in the US starting 30 August 2018, marking the first time that Season 2 of this show airing on American over-the-air television. A third season is also in development. On 22 January 2018, Zag posted on Instagram that the crew was working on a fourth and fifth season. On 31 August premiered a new series with Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir which this time is in chibi style. On 5 September, 2018, Skydance Media has acquired the live-action film and live-action television rights.
