故事設定在《CODE GEASS 反叛的魯路修》的四年後 講述了兩名以高超的武藝廣為人知的傭兵，亞修和羅瑟的故事
牧尘，北灵境中史无前例取得“灵路”资格的少年。本应顺利通过“灵路”的试验后进入五大院学习，却史无前例地在灵路试炼中半途被踢了出来，没有人知道原因为何，许多人因此认为他不过是侥幸得到资格。然而牧尘将用实力证明，就算没能在“灵路”中走到最后，他也能夺取五大院的入门资格。
时间是2045年，故事的舞台是日本制造的太空站“安心”，在月球出生的少年“登矢”和儿时玩伴“心叶”为了移居地球而在太空站进行复健，但他们却和首次到宇宙旅行的地球孩子“大洋”、“美衣奈”、“博士”一同被卷入了太空站与彗星的冲撞事故。在与大人们隔绝，网络也被切断的封闭空间中，时而冲突、时而互助的孩子们，必须共同面对减压、EVA（宇宙游泳）、微型机械失控等种种困难。
中野（诹访部顺一 配音）是一个标标准准的社畜，在黑心公司上班的他每一天都会受到老板无情的压榨，下班后筋疲力尽的回到家中，等待着他的是冷冷清清的黑暗房间，还有一堆因为没有精力做而放置在那里的家务。对于未来，中野看不到一点希望，他只是闭着眼睛过着眼前的一天又一天而已。 一天，和往常一样，中野闷闷不乐的回到家中，让他没有想到的是，一只小狐仙（和气杏未 配音）就这样出现在了他的视野之中，在误打误撞之中突如其来的狐仙不忍心看到中野颓废的现状，于是暂住在他家，担负起了打理家事的责任。有了小狐仙，中野每天回家的脚步似乎变得轻快了一些。

Most of all, they must learn to put their romantic feelings aside in order to perform their duty, unaware of each other's true identities. The second season premiere is scheduled for a global launch around September–November 2017 in Europe, At a panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2017, it was announced that the second season would have its North American release on Netflix in December 2017, with 13 episodes to be released. KidsClick will start airing season 2 of this show in the US starting 30 August 2018, marking the first time that Season 2 of this show airing on American over-the-air television. A third season is also in development. On 22 January 2018, Zag posted on Instagram that the crew was working on a fourth and fifth season. On 31 August premiered a new series with Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir which this time is in chibi style. On 5 September, 2018, Skydance Media has acquired the live-action film and live-action television rights.
