在5×01中，多名女性声称遭到Edward L.L. Moore的性骚扰，导致亚马逊网下架他的书，HBO取消根据他的书改编的电视剧集，帝国出版集团不得不全力应对这起丑闻的负面影响。与此同时，Caitlin的室友的父亲Bob来到帝国出版集团担任法务代表，专门协助处理办公室性行为不检等相关问题，Liza的秘密可能因此彻底曝光。在5×02中，Charles的前妻Pauline再次出现，和著名影星兼制片人Reese Witherspoon有合作关系的某人有意将她的新书《婚姻假日》（Marriage Vacation）改编成一部电影。与此同时，Charles可能会在本集中发现Liza的秘密，Liza和Charles的关系可能发生本质改变。

时值袁世凯（罗乐林 饰）当政，都督蔡锷（刘松仁 饰）不满他的昏庸无能，想要起义推翻他的统治。为了隐藏声息，蔡锷假装接近青楼名妓小凤仙（周海媚 饰），希望自己沉迷于欢场之中的模样能够令袁世凯放松警惕。
然而袁世凯生性多疑，早就开始怀疑蔡锷动机不纯，于是派出了参谋长莫逆天（林嘉华 饰）潜伏在他的身边，同时控制了蔡锷的妻子白思婷（田蕊妮 饰）作为手中的筹码。实际上，小凤仙早已经爱上了刚正不阿的蔡锷，愿意为他付出一切，无奈蔡锷对她的热情和爱护全是假象。士官（马国明 饰）很快就发现了这一切，他深爱着小凤仙，希望能够带着她远走高飞。

But behind closed doors, Sheila has her own darkly funny take on life she rarely lets the world see. She’s also battling a complex set of personal demons relating to her self-image… that is, until she finds release through the unlikeliest source: the world of aerobics. Season two found Byrne having successfully launched her first fitness video only to encounter some new and bigger obstacles on her path. She is torn between loyalty to her husband (Rory Scovel) and the values he represents, and a dangerous attraction to someone else. And since she’s no longer the only game in town, she finds herself having to outrun some fierce new competitors on the road to building a full-fledged fitness empire.

This series is directed by Stephanie Laing, who also serves as executive producer alongside Adelstein, Clements and Bachner for Tomorrow Studios, and Byrne.
