艾可魔法少女由音乐，魔法，美少女三大元素构成，主要讲述了3位新海学院6年级的转学生，其实是来自神秘乐之世界的音乐魔法少女，她们在暗中对抗着邪恶的噪音魔王，悄悄的维护着世界的安宁与和平。
在这个世界上有一群人，他们身体上刻有文字“印”，并可以通过念力将“印”转化为超能力施放出来，这种能力被称为言能，而这群人被称为言能师。唯一能够教授这种能力知识的地方，是有着悠久历史，继承了远古文明的万象学城。每一年万象学城都会举办考试，招收有潜力的言能师进入学城学习，并将他们组建成维护世界和平的警卫力量——千从狩。我们的主人公千从虽是个有印无能的哑炮，却也梦想着成为最强的千从狩，并为此进入学城求学，开启了他的不灭人生。
